Statement of Belief

What We Believe

We serve one God. There is one Loving God, who exists in three persons (Father, Son and Holy Ghost).  Jesus Christ was born of a virgin and is the Son of the One and only Living God. Jesus died on the cross, rose again the third day, ascended to Heaven and is coming for the glorified Church one day. (Matthew 1:18-25 & 28:19; Luke 1:26-38; Mark 16:1; 1 Corinthians 15; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Isaiah 7:14; Romans 1:4)

All sinners must be born again of the Spirit of God and must repent to gain eternal salvation, and that confession is made with the mouth. (Romans 3:9-19, 24-25, 4:5 & 10:9-10; Ephesians 2:1-3 & 8-9; Hebrews 9:22)

In a prayer of salvation proclaiming Jesus as Lord and Savior, sins are forgiven when we repent, believe and receive Jesus into our heart.

God inspired all original scripture, (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:21; Matthew 5:18; 1 Corinthians 3:13)

We believe in salvation by grace and not by works (we receive it by faith), the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire, speaking in tongues (with interpretation), prophecy, visions, revelations, healings, miracles, and the gifts of the Spirit and that they are still for today. (2 Peter 1:4; Galatians 3 & 5; Deuteronomy 28029; Psalm 105; Hebrews 10:7 & 13:8 declares Jesus is unchanging so God’s gifts remain active (Genesis 17:6,22; 2 Corinthians 9:8; 1 Corinthians 12; Colossians 1:12; Romans 8:16-19)

We are to be clothed with the power of God to bring the salvation message to every creature, to set the captives free, lay hands on the sick and bring liberty to all through Christ Jesus. (Mark 16:17; Acts 2:4; Luke 4:18; 1 Corinthians 2:4 & chapter 14; book of Acts to the church)

The unsaved will receive the eternal punishment in the Lake of Fire (Hell). (Joh 5:28-29; Revelation 20:10-15)

We are to live righteously unto God, setting our affection on things above and not on earth. We are to live in the world, but not of the world, separating ourselves unto God. (Titus 2:13; Colossians 3:2; 2 Corinthians 6:14-18)
